Categories and products export and import

Hello, i have been using zen cart for almost a year and i`m extremely happy with it.

However recently i have been thinking about having another shop with zen cart similar to the old one but with almost same products.

It would be troublesome to add again over 2000 product so an export from the old shop and an import to the new one would be easier because i just need to modify a few products.

I read in a few threads and in the tutorial on how to export products and categories from the phpmyadmin but what i would like to know is the exact process and steps to take to export and import to the new website.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am not quite sure why you would need 2 websites with the same products, but myphpadmin require some experience and it is not recommended unless you know what your doing. Once you get familiar with that tool it makes life much easier. I have more than 80000 products on my website and I can edit anything I want on them in a few minor steps.

I would recommend using the Easy Populate to export and import the products since it is harder to miss up the database. As always Back UP before you do anything to the database.
