Downloads charging shipping

I am selling patterns for customers on my site. I have a basic pattern and a personalized patterns. When a customer buys a basic pattern I have no problems. When they click on the option to have a personalized pattern they get charged shipping.

I do have a file name for the personalized pattern and the weight is set to 0.

I am at a lost on how to fix this. I am running the most current version of zen cart.

Downloads need to be setup as:

Product is Virtual: **No, Shipping Address Required **

Always Free Shipping: No, Normal Shipping Rules

The Download should show on the Attribute in the Attributes Controller and have a green dot next to the filename ...

When setup correctly, and the only Product in the cart is a Download, the checkout_shipping should be skipped ...

I do have have everything checked off like you explained and I have a green dot next to the download files.

It seemed to stop working when I did a sale maker. At that time I figured out that I had the attributes set up wrong because the sale would not calculate out right. I had to unclick the button for "price by attributes" to no. Then it showed up right.

I did not notice the problem until after that when I had customers emailing me that they were having problems.

It is also only when the order a personalized pattern. All products take me to the shipping page. When a basic pattern is the choice it bypasses the shipping page.

I am really confused

Could you perhaps give me a specific products_id that this is happening with and is a Download Product which should have no shipping?

Here is a link for you. It is getting really strange now. Now I am getting the shipping page but its showing the freeshipper option now.

This appears to be working now, were you able to fix the problem?

If so, what was the solution?

I did not do a thing at all. This is really wierd........
