I came, I read, I found, I screwed it up! Advice, please?

I wanted to create Per-Page meta-tags for my page_2, page_3, page_4. I read through the forums, found the info I needed, and then promptly screwed it up. I entered the following code into the file meta_tags.php, and my site promptly went away. :frusty: When I removed this code, it came back. :clap: I think the error is in the highlighted areas... can you help me fix it?

my site is http://merrimackvalleydiapers.com, I believe that I am running the most up-to-date version of ZC, I have no add-ons, and I had the initial set-up done by someone else.

Not sure, but try escaping the special characters ! and ? by placing a backslash in front of them:
