Re: Admin's Who's Online time is wrong.

Put this in your root .htaccess file. This will shift the server time zone to your local area no matter where the server is located:

SetEnv TZ America/Denver

Replace the above Denver with the closest city located only here:

Re: Admin's Who's Online time is wrong.

Log into your control panel such as cpanel or plesk etc. Go to your file manager...make sure you chose to view hidden files.

Edit the file called .htaccess <----located in your website root

if you dont have one create one. Simply copy and paste this in it:

SetEnv TZ America/Denver

Click save and look in your admin section at the time. It will change to Denver local time. If denver local time is not the same time as yours, replace the city with the closest city to you from the list located here:

Re: Admin's Who's Online time is wrong.

this is what I have in my root directory of .htaccess:

BOF SSU

Options +FollowSymLinks -MultiViews
RewriteEngine On

Make sure to change "test_site" to the subfolder you install ZC. If you use root folder, change to: RewriteBase /

RewriteBase /zencart/

Deny access from .htaccess

RewriteRule ^.htaccess$ - [F]

RewriteCond %{SCRIPT_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{SCRIPT_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule ^(.*) index.php?/$1 [E=VAR1:$1,QSA,L]

EOF SSU

Where do I put it?

Re: Admin's Who's Online time is wrong.

I have insert it. But it didn't change the time. SetEnv TZ America/Chigaco is the same time zone I have put that in and its still not changing the time.

Re: Admin's Who's Online time is wrong.

I cant help you with php that old. That will only work with 5.2.x so my bad. I just assumed that php was reasonably up-to-date.

This depends on your version of Zen Cart. What are you running...hopefully 1.38a Patch1?

Re: Admin's Who's Online time is wrong.

I just realized that if you have the ability of installing php5 why not just change the server time to what is local to you? Do you have a dedicated server?
