How to continue without going back to home page

Hi everyone, i am new to this, just started on zencart, need help with e-commerce website process. When you purchase a product and go through to log-in page, enter log-in details, instead of continuing to checkout it takes you all the way back to home page. Why!
Anyone know how to overide this? Does this happen in zencart as standard. Please help!!!!

Re: How to continue without going back to home page

That is not the correct functionality. Please provide your URL.

Please do not PM for support issues: a private solution doesn't benefit the community.

Be careful with unsolicited advice via email or PM - Make sure the person you are talking to is a reliable source.
