Text is wrong color and size if viewed in IE vs. Firefox

I haven't done anything to change my site recently in regards to format. I do not use IE as a rule (I use Firefox) but my husband was showing a co-worker my site at work using IE and it had "done but with errors on page" on the bottom of the browser. I looked at home and OMG...it has that error but the text is huge with the wrong color at certain points (red). In Firefox it looks fine. I know it looked okay in IE last time I did a format change so I had no idea something had gone wrong.

Generally, that happens when some coding error causes the styleheet not to take effect.

I'd validate your site (in IE8, F12 for the Web Developer, then click the Validate tab) and fix any errors there first.

Another hint might be that that text is OK on your secured pages.

Looking at the error - it says the problem is bad syntax on line 218 and whe you look at your source it appears the is a slideshow script that is the problem.
