30,000+ products.. Slow speed, suggestions?

Hi,

I have 30,000+ items in the products table, and the site is running really slow. I have MySQL Cache enabled, as well as a Cache module for Zen I installed. I am running on a VPS, and have been on the phone with them as they look at site, and doesn't appear to be an issue with the server being able to handle it. Any suggestions here for making Zen run faster? I am guessing it takes so long to load all the products when you go to view all products

Have you turned on parse time display or logging to help see where the problem is?

If you try to use the pull down menus on the left, you'll notice those pages are probably the slowest

I wasn't, just enabled it and will check

No it's a VPS with 4GB of memory
