Send e-mail to other vendors - can it be done?

Hello,

I am interested in making a shop for other users, but I dont know what is the right term for it I will try to explain as good as I can. My idea is that I found some importers, and they dont have web-shops, and I want to put their stuff on my site. I want as soon the order is taken, to automatic send an e-mail to the specific owner of the good with the order and the details of the customer.

Is there an add-on that can do that? Or some customization of the zen-cart?

That is called drop shipping. You market the product and the suppier sends them directly to the customer.

Have a look at the Drop Shipping/Supplier Interface addon and this thread.
