Salemaker for Subcategory--Linked Products

I would like to run on a sale on Subcategories, but can't. All my products are imported daily with the same master category ID (category called "All Products"), and then also dropped into various subcategories. I installed the related "Known Bug" fix with no change. I've looked at the idea of changing the subcategory's Master ID, but it would revert back with the daily import. Is there anything I can do?

You might look at the Multiple Categories Link Manager that you will see when you click C for Copy on a Product ...

At the bottom of the categories are some features where you can change a Category to be the Master Category for all of the Products in it ...

Be sure to do proper backups before using features like this ...
