Is Customer Login Necessary?

I'm a real ZenCart newbie still in the nurses arm! Question: I noticed that a customer login gets displayed. Is this necessary? Can it be disabled somewhere if I don't want this feature?

No, it cannot be disabled in standard Zen Cart, but there are mods that get around it in various ways. Try searching the forum for COWOA (the latest info for it is in the wiki).
