Notification of sell products

Hi, ZC user I have one issue!!

I have 3 Business partners in my shop, end hay hi know when his product sell?

Hay to a business partner to know when his product is sold, how can I prove how many of its products sold in a day?

Is it possible that every business parnet receive email notification when is sell his product in the shop?

There is nothing built into Zen Cart to do this. Indeed, there's no obvious way that Zen Cart could even know which products had been contributed by each of your partners, let alone tell them when those products are sold.

However, Zen Cart is open source and so you are able to extend it to tag each partner's products and add to the order class to work through each order placed and generate an email for each partner.

The solution would depend upon how your site was structured to recognise your partners' products. If they have their own categories or you have treated each partner as a manufacturer then you may already be tagging the products in a way that could be used for this. Otherwise you would need to add a field to the product database and then populate it when you create or maintain products.

Then in the order class you would need to scan through all the products in the completed order - look for the place where the customer confirmation is generated as an approproriate point, and model - and then add an additional email to the appropriate partners.

But just to be informed of certain products, not all?
Such a report should be convincing proof of the quantity of sold products.

Is this something can be done in the ZCshop?
