What is this called??

Hi, I have tried just about every combination for searching and I don't know what it is called. Category repeated above main image in product display??

I have attached a pic because the site is not secure.

Example: The main category is Snakeskin. Then when you go to product display. The category name (example Snakeskin) repeats itself and rests above the main image on the product display page.

How do I turn that off or remove it?

The second instance of that text is the Category Name which is to accompany the Category Image, if you have one.
You can add a category image via Admin->Catalog->Categories/Products, and click the "e" on a given category to edit its name/description/image.
You can control whether the image is to display with the text or not, via Admin->Configuration->Product Info.
Keep in mind that if you're using Firefox, you might be seeing the category name in place of an image if you have deleted an image you once uploaded, since the image "alt" text is also the category name. It's hard to tell which exact problem you have since you're not giving access to a live URL.

The first instance of the category name, in the image you attached, next to the "home" link, is called the "breadcrumb", and is intended to aid in navigating amongst categories. It's not recommended to remove that.

No, I do not have an image per category and I don’t plan on adding one.

I looked in the above reference area and I believe you are referring to “Previous Next - Navigation Includes Category Name and Image Status?”

I don’t see where I can completely dislodge it all together.

I am guessing it is permanent.

Second option, where can I hard code it out?

I am trying to figure out what css code might work?

Admin > Configuration > Product Info > Previous Next - Navigation Includes Category Name and Image Status, change to what you want, "1" is Category Name Only.

Hi CharInLasVegas, thanks for the reply but I don't want the image or name. I want it blank. It looks funny repeating the Category on the same page.

Is there a way to permanently remove it so it does not appear at all?

If it is not there, FTP a copy to your server from a default zencart file-set.

I looked at your demo and it appears that you don't seem to have that problem.

What did you do?

Just for the record, I have pixel_trans.gif in my image file.
