stock levels and attributes

Hello,

Cant seem to figure out how to set up my attributes. I have two products, say for example shirts , AA and BB.

Shirt AA has 3 mediums, 2 larges, 1 small and is in red and blue

Shirt BB has 2 mediums, 2 larges, 2 small and is in green and white.

I set up two products, and attributes (color:red, blue, green, white) and (sizes:large, medium and small). I applied the attributes to my products, but there seems no way to be able to display/say how many of each product you have for each attribute grouping.

ie Shirt AA , Medium, Red has 3 items avaliable. It just displays 6 items, but this should reflect the attributes choosen ?

Thanks

Re: stock levels and attributes

I Have downloaded and installed the mod (i think ). If I go into admin, catalog, products with attributes stock, i can set my stock levels by attribute grouping.

When I look at the product in the store front, it sums up the number of stock items (ie 9), but does not indicate what subgroupings I have ( ie 1 red medium, 2 green extra-large,6 blue medium). Should it show the subgroupings with count ?

If I try and put 3 red mediums into my shopping cart it does show

'Products marked with *** are out of stock.
Items not in stock will be placed on backorder.'

Is there another mod that will show the subgroupings for this product in the store front, or have I not installed this mod correctly ?

Thanks,
