Multi Vendor Shipping

Oscommerce has this mod and I wish Zen Cart would add it, this is the only reason I didnt switch to zen cart yet.

I tried doing this mod but I dont know where to start since MVS is alot of code and zen cart has changed its coding from oscommerce.

If someone would help me code this to zen cart that would be great. I dont know much about zen cart.

I use a mod called advanced shipper and it works perfectly for MVS. Unlike MVS in oscommerce, it is very easy to program. It cost about £50 plus another £15 for the zone mod...definately worth it.

My fellow Zens,

I am mostly finished with making a multi-vendor module for my store (which I'd be willing to share with the community). I am just stuck on how to pay the vendors. What I am trying to do is have a commission taken based on product sale price, and have the commission go to admin, and the rest go to the vendor.

What would help me is if someone can tell me where in the zencart code the payment is processed, and where in the database the admin's payment info is stored. Any extra info you can provide to help, I'd also appreciate.

Payment is processed by the payment modules that your customers choose from those you have installed. Information about the order is stored in the orders table - there are several of them all starting order.

Thank you. That has me pointed in the right direction. I'll see what I can figure out from here. It would seem that the admin payment info is stored in the configuration table. So hopefully I can figure out how to do the payments to each vendor for their sales

Will there be a way to set the commission to "0" in case we don't need it?

Hi, Does anyone know if any progress has been made on a ZenCart MVS module similar to Oscommerce? I have been using ZenCart for several years and it has been a wonderful shopping cart for me and has everything I need except this module. I sure don't want to convert my entire website to Oscommerce just for this module.
