new template added- not showing up in admin selector

I have created a "test" site by copying my entire working store to a /test directory. It has been up for 2 weeks and I have gone through store/admin functioning properly to make sure all the files moved properly etc. I had a new template installed in /test/includes/templates directory, checked the template_info.php file for any errors but it does not show up in the drop down menu for the admin/tools/template selection. Other then the template_info.php what could be the problem?

Re: new template added- not showing up in admin selector

so i figured out that all the /test/admin functions are working but when I go to template selector it is picking files from my regular /includes/templates not my /test/includes/templates. Does anyone know where the .php file is that points this to the correct directory?

Re: new template added- not showing up in admin selector

So all of my admin files are pointing to the live store. Here is the configure.php can anyone tell me what I need to change to have it properly point to /test/elocin and not just /elocin

We recommend using the "cache" folder inside the Zen Cart folder // ie: /path/to/your/webspace/public_html/zen/cache -- leave no trailing slash define('SQL_CACHE_METHOD', 'none'); define('DIR_FS_SQL_CACHE', '/home2/dittycom/public_html/cache'); ?>

Re: new template added- not showing up in admin selector

Change this section:

// * DIR_WS_* = Webserver directories (virtual/URL)
// these paths are relative to top of your webspace ... (ie: under the public_html or httpdocs folder)
define('DIR_WS_ADMIN', '/elocin/');
define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '/');
define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_ADMIN', '/elocin/');
define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/');

If the test folder is test/elocin/, make the following changes:

// * DIR_WS_* = Webserver directories (virtual/URL)
// these paths are relative to top of your webspace ... (ie: under the public_html or httpdocs folder)
define('DIR_WS_ADMIN', '/test/elocin/');
define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '/test/');
define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_ADMIN', '/test/elocin/');

define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/');

You need to adjust all the applicable paths. Here's an FAQ article on the topic: https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?article=122

Worked perfectly. Thank you both!
