Help Changing the look of my site?

I'm new at working with the ZenCart.... :lookaroun

I would like to be able to change the look of my site and then also be able to edit the colors of differant area as needed.
We sell watercraft parts and would like to have the site somewhat matcing our business / Racing Team colors. (Red/Black/Gray/White) or close to along these colors.

I've found the download place "Free Software Add Ons", I did download several of the "Template Packages" to a folder on my desk top but not sure what to do after that.

Sorry.... please explain it to me as detailed as you can.

MrRogueHi - lots of information in many places - it would be a good idea to learn about the "overrides" system before you modify anything - will save a lot of headaches later - the wiki is a good starting point....:smile:

It's quite possible to do whatever you want in the way of colours etc - just takes some time (yours - or someone else :smile:)

There should be instructions included with each template. Basically, you have to FTP (upload) the folder to your website.

Kuroi has set up a very helpful site that shows you what many of these free templates look like once installed. Remember... these examples will be the CORE version of these templates - without any personalizations which you can later do yourself.
