An easier way to add products?

Maybe I'm hoping for too much, but was wondering if there was an easier way to add products than one at a time.

I have had my store setup for a while now and have added numerous extras and all seems to be good. The only thing that is holding progress back is adding new products. I have added the couple hundred products I have manually and it is very time consuming. There are so many other products out there that I would like to add but in the recent months the adding product part has been very slow going. There are atleast a few thousand I would like to add and it seems it will never happen.

Please let me know if there is an easier or quicker way to add products. I know about that ez populate but I dont have any files to upload for that. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Well, there's no way around the need to get your product information in digital form. If there is none of that now, you or someone else will have to type it in. It might be worthwhile to enter it in a spreadsheet which could be streamlined, then translated through ez-populate, instead of clicking pages back and forth to enter directly in admin.
