how can i change the sort by/filter by options

hi all, i was wondering how i can change the normal sort by options (A-Z and 0-9) on the category pages to the sort by on the new products pages?

for example

i want these sort options product name, product name -desc, price - low to high, price - high to low, mode, date added - new to old, date added - old to new.

eg. http://www.cicicam.biz/products_new.html

in place of this sort bar

eg http://www.cicicam.biz/wholesale-dresses-c-2.html

and i do know that clicking on with the vertical layout i can click the price or the item name will sort it but i want to supply the end users with the sort bar.

any help at all is appreciated

Hi,

You may find your happiness by set the "Display Product Display - Default Sort Order" to 6 in your configuration/All Listing.

You can do the same for "new listing" and "Featured listing".

If it doesn't work, you can still modify the "PRODUCT_ALL_LIST_SORT_DEFAULT" value in the configuration table..

Hi, thanks for the reply but im not trying to sort my listings by default date added. i want to give my customers the options to be able to sort by any one of the following
product name
product name -desc
price - low to high
price - high to low
model
date added - new to old
date added - old to new

i want to get rid of the sort by A-Z 0-9 and replace it with the sort bar like the one found in "New Listings"
