Category Sidebox: 3rd level categories will not show

I'm trying to get the Categories sidebox category tree to show the 3rd subcategory level when you're on a 3rd level subcategory page. It does this by default for top and second level but when you're in the third level it resorts back to the top level appearance. Anyone have a tweak for this? :frusty:

Sounds like you have some custom categories display, because the stock version will do this automatically. We need to see your site to be able to advise on this. Do you know what mod you have installed?

I'm working on this behind a development firewall so not able to share quickly. I tested this with the "Classic Contemporary Green" template to verify it wasn't something i was doing in my custom template and still the same issue. I did however do some moving of top level categories into newly created parent categories but I've since tested with a fresh new top category and new subcategory and 3rd level subcategory. The sidebox always kicks back to the top level even though we're in the 3rd.

Ok found the conflict. It's an issue with the Simple SEO URLs module. When i turn that off i'm able to move that cat tree into the 3rd level. :clap:

The solution to this is to go to the SSU options in the admin:
Configuration > Simple SEO URL

• set max category level to a high number
  Go to Extras > Simple SEO URL Manager
• click Reset all cache
