how to mouse over tool tips?

I am using the latest version of Zen Cart. I what to know were I can find the code for the tooltips for Zen Cart. I have set up a LAMP server that I do experiments on and I want to modify the tool tips and/or expand them. I would also like to discover if there is a way to keep the tool tip data in MySQL. I am teaching myself PHP, but don't assume I know anything! :cool:. Were to the current tooltips get there info from?

What tool tips?

What you may be taking for tooltips are alt text in link or image code. Those come from a variety of sources, some constants, some generated based on product/category location/name... None of them will be hard-coded in PHP files, though (except for language defines).

if it helps i believe the 'tool tips' you refer to are from the title attribute. so if you see image code

<img src="/images/sample.png" width="100" height="100" alt="Replacement Text" title="tooltip text" />

Zen Cart's default code generates alt text from relevant information like the category or product name, and sets the title to the same as the alt text. You would need to do some extensive customizing to get different title text.
