edited php file, and everything was messed up

I wanted to change name in More Information box, the page 4 to new title when I saved it and uploaded to server all the text got mess up,
I edited file in .includes/languages/english.php

and changed the text page 4 to my desired name
save it , nothing else got changed

I used evsoft page 2006

what could of cause it ?

(do you mean evrsoft...?)

DON'T use html editors to edit code files. Use a PLAIN TEXT editor - Emerald Editor is good, so is notepad++

Both are freeware.

Restore the backup file (remember... that backup you made BEFORE you started editing) - and try again using a plain text editor.

good I had backup I was able to restore the file quick,
I will download those programs, I tried to edit with notepad in win7 and it groups all line together, and de-selected 'word wrap' but didnt help, but I try these programs,

remember... notepad++ is not the same as plain old notepad.
