something broke with account sign ups
This is so odd. I haven't touched this cart for a year or more. The files, I mean. It worked fine until about a month or three weeks ago. Now, suddenly, when you go to sign up for an account or add a billing address, there are two boxes for state - a drop down one and an unenterable text box. Tried the css to hide the extra box, didn't work.
The odd thing is, it keeps going in a loop. If you use the drop down, it says you have to input state, if you type state, it says to pick one from the list.
Another odd thing - as I was checking to see which version it is using, clicking on the "check for updates" button just makes it hang. So after a LONG time, it says my version is current, although I know it isn't. The last dates on the files were Feb 2008.
Any ideas why this would suddenly stop working without anyone changing any files? I think it's running 1.3.7 but I can't be sure because it won't check the version for me.
