Newsletter Subscribe 2.1.1???

From what I've read this sounds like a good mod and something I'd like to use. I only have a couple of questions.

The instructions say to copy the admin folder to the root folder. I've renamed my admin folder, so do I need to rename the admin folder in the mod to the same name as my admin folder? If I do that, I've noticed that there are a lot more folders and files in my admin folder compared to the mod admin folder. Will my files be lost or do I need to just copy the individual files from the mod?

Just rename the admin folder in the mod to the name of your folder and drag and drop it to the root of the site. Files can be overwritten, folders not.

I got everything uploaded and it's working great. I'm not crazy about it in the sidebox though. Is there a way I can take it out of the sidebox and have it in the middle of my homepage? i

I have just installed Newsletter Subscribe module and it works great for the newletters however whenever I turn on the sidebox/button in the layout controller it makes everything disappear on my page except for the left hand column and even that does not show the button. When I turn it off it all goes back to normal. I think I must have a template problem, but I dont know what to look for. Can anyone help me with this. Thanks

Try copying the files in again to install, moving them file by file. You have to rename the your_template and admin folders. I'm pretty sure we messed this up and ran into the same problem. G'luck

I just installed this mod but i'm not seeing the option to add a sidebox in admin - anyone had the same problem and what did I do wrong?

All my fault! :oops:

In my case there was typo in one of the folder names.

So much for copying the files over one at a time!
