Still, it would be great to see all items, or all items in a parent category at once. Or in a parent category.
I have just begin missing around with Zen Cart, trying to re-do my girlfriends website. She sells many products, and while she has thousands of varieties, well, over a thousand, she usually only has 1 or 2 plants of a particular variety available for sale at any one time. Therefore, powerful inventory management is key.
What I might wish for is to be able to see a hundred items at a time, sorted by name or product number, and to be able to click a button beside an item to increase the number in inventory by 1. I'm wondering if it would be better to download the database and use some MySQL manager program to adjust inventory?
Thoughts? Ideas? Solutions?
Blessings!
James
P.S. I'm a rusty programmer but am probably able to learn some of this PHP stuff, at least I hope. I tried messing with Magento and find the Wordpress plugins to be much friendlier. I've looked at OScommerce and CubeCart but Zen-Cart appealed to me the most.
