Contact Us Page will not show up on website

I have set up the correct contact info about my business on the Config/MyStore/Store Address and Phone. The email address is set up in Config/Email Options/Set "Contact Us" Email Dropdown List. The Config/Email Options/Contact Us - Show Store Name and Address is set to 1(ON). In spite of these settings, there is no 'Contact Us' showing on my website pages.

I've read thru dozens of other Contact Us issues on the forum but cannot find anyone else with this issue. Could someone tell me where I am going wrong?

All the settings are set to 1

I assume you have the Information sidebox activated.

If you're using a custom template, does Contact Us appear when you switch temporarily to the Classic template?

That's got it! It would have been nice if the fellow who wrote the manual had mentioned this little detail somewhere. I've spent so many hours trying to get this to work.

It sure doesn't look like I thought it would and several other things besides Contact Us are now visible such as Privacy Policy, Conditions of Use etc that I'm not ready to show yet as I haven't worked on what to put in them. Is there any way to turn off all but the Contact Us?

Check Admin - Configuration - Define Page Status

You can turn off Gift Certifcates (and the FAQ link) in Admin - Modules - Order Totals and the Newsletter Unsubscribe link in Admin - Configuration - Email Options
