New category

Hello people,

i have one small problem with the control panel of 1.3.8. When I make a new category and press save, then it jumps to start menu without make the category, why that? anybody knows?:dontgetit

Did you recently apply the Security Patches for v1.3.8?

This is symptomatic of a bad update usually of updating the html_output.php function files with the wrong ones for the Catalog and the Admin ...

Review the updates and check these files they are similar but different ...

No I didn't make any update for security. Just like that?

You should apply the Security Patches and Updates and add the Known Bug fixes ...

If you are in your Zen Cart Admin and go to the Catalog ... Manufacturers ... and hit EDIT and UPDATE ... does it work?

I check now and the banner area to install new banner (or change the already banner with other one) and do the same think. When I press the upgrade then go to main page without make the upgrade.

What can I do? :(

Could you check the files:
/includes/functions/html_output.php
/admin/includes/functions/html_output.php

and make sure that they are the correct files, on the server, for the Catalog and Admin?

It really sounds like the file:
/admin/includes/functions/html_output.php

is incorrect ...
