Can't get USPS module to work

I contacted the USPS and they did send me my user ID which I did put in the USPS module settings. I did request that my production account be activated and a few hours ago I received an email from the USPS that my account is now active on the production server.

Downloaded and installed the latest usps.php file that I found on this forum, installed it and set it up.

Only problem is...it don't work...I get this error message.

Any ideas???

First, make sure you have the current USPS January 4, 2010 update plus the additional change to the last update at:

Next, be sure that you followed the steps to save settings, remove, install and configure ...

Make sure you are set to the Production server ...

Make sure that you have set your 5 digit US Zip Code ...

Check your Shipping/Packaging settings ...

See if you have made any changes to them ...

This is the error message I get back when putting Zencart into debug mode. From what I see, all the setting are correct and I did install the latest update as you mentioned.

Just sent of an email to customer support at USPS to see if they had an answer.

I would call USPS on the telephone and have them verify that your account is active on the Production server ...

I just tried to call them but they are closed so I assume I'll have to wait until Monday morning to give them a try. Thanks for all your assistance!!

Also, just for giggles and grins ... install the UPS shipping module .. does it work?

UPS works fine.
