Problems with store not being in the root directory

I wonder if someone can help me, I have search for days and cant find the answer.
I am running Zen Cart 1.3.8a and have the store installed in the folowing directory https://www.kut4u.com/us/usstore. I have done this as we also have a UK store which will go on the same server.
As a consequence of this, when I send emails such as the Welcome email it gives the address as above. How do I change this to read just https://www.kut4u.com. (all forwarding to the store is done through my host's control panel)

First stop for all basic questions should be the Tutorials/FAQ link top-right on this page. But for now, just go to admin/Configuration/E-mail Options and set them the way you want.

Thanks for your reply, I tried searching the FAQs and the forum but sadly cannot find the answer, perhaps I didnt explain it properly, or search for the wron thing.
An example of what I am talking about is the welcome email at the very end says:

Gina Hubbard and Angela Drummond
Store Owner

I would like it to say:

Sincerely,

Gina Hubbard and Angela Drummond
Store Owner

https://www.kut4u.com

perhaps this makes more sense.

maybe someone could give me a hint on the words I need to use to search for the right answer? I have tried welcome email, root directory, subdirectory, url, website name and various other combinations over the last 2 days, honestly writing this post was my last resort :)

Try Admin - Tools - Admin Settings - Edit.

thanks but thats not it, that just lets me change the email address and password
