Can I link my store members to phpBB?

Hello Gents,

I decided it was high time I integrated a forum with the store, and so I did.

However, I've got a bunch of customers in the store I want to appear in phpBB.

Ive got:
Zen-Cart: ****1.3.8a
phpBB 3.0.5

The forum is working, the Zen-Cart is working.

Test member was created successfully on both ends.

Now I don't want to do anything foolish, but am feeling compelled to simply run a sql command to copy the FirstName as nickname for the forum.

Or do current members have a way to add a nickname through their Zen-Cart membership?

Let me know please, it would be appreciated.

Ray

Because of the cross indexing that is present and required for this
I would be best to explain the feature and have them create a new account

The only problem is that I would lose the orders that are already linked to the customers...

So there must be a better way.. :)
