Configuration Menu in Admin - 404 errors - other menus fine

Has anyone else come across something like this before? This is on a demo install so if it comes to the crunch I will re-install, but I would really like to understand why.

I have re-FTP'd all admin files. It is only the Configuration Menu that is the problem, all other areas in Admin seem fine.

Any pointers?

Use FTP to check the admin files & look for any that may be "0" bytes

Resolved :D

The configuration.php was set to 777 and Zen Cart must do a check. It came up as a ' SoftException in Application' in the logs.
