Re: SSL help on 1and1 host

Vger - I'm not exactly sure what I should look for when I view source. Also, I bought the dedicated ssl and it still looks the same way. I can't take it anymore it's just driving me insane. Look at https://www.petalsnpleasure.com Dedicated SSL, still the template or anything doesn't look. It looks exactly like the shared ssl. What is this?

Your problem is probably with your includes/configure.php file. This is what your https pages say:

<base href="http://www.petalsnpleasure.comhttps://ssl.perfora.net/www.petalsnpleasure.com/" />

Vger

I see it now when I look at https://www.petalsnpleasure.com

View - Source: Line 15

What in configure.php file must be changed. Why is it duplicating the website on line 15?

Vger--I think I love you. check it out: https://www.petalsnpleasure.com

That was the problem. Line 15. So I went to the configure.php file in includes and in the HTTPS_Catalog I had the entire website listed instead of '/'. Just this simple change made it work.

Thank you soooooooooo much for your attention to detail!!!!

Why is my site so slow now? Do I need the dedicated ip address also? Please share your thoughts?

Just visited...site did not load slowly at all, BUT will depend
in future, maybe, on load of server where your site is housed.

Re: SSL help on 1and1 host

I'm glad you got it sorted. Site loads very quickly for me, at this time.
