Products by weight categorie

Hi all zenners is there any way to achieve this ????

I am trying to add weight units to my items but this is not working for me as i have specific postage brackets e.g

1-25kgs would be £6.50 postage
26-50kgs would be £13 postage
51-75kgs would be £18 postage

so whether or not they order 1 item or 50 items i would like the delivery price on the weights as described above.

Is there any way to achieve this .

Many Thanks

Re: Products by weight categorie

Use the Table Rate module and specify 'by weight'.

Re: Products by weight categorie

I am running Zen Cart 1.3.8a, Database Patch Level: 1.3.8 and had the table rate set up. Then the client wanted to offer free shipping. I "kind of" got that to work and now I'm taking off the free shipping because i want to go back to the regular table weight shipping.

But it's not working.

I have 3 products that have 0 weight (ongoing special for this client) He does not charge shipping for those 3 items. It's always been that like that.

So after I removed the coupon for free shipping on orders over $999.00, I exepcted the table rate shipping to kick in.

Well, I tried to order one of the products that has 0 weight and the shopping cart wants to charge me $21.48 which is the accurate shipping for 7.5 pounds. But there is only 1 item in the cart and the weight is set to 0. So where is it finding the 7.5 pounds.

Yes. the tare is set to 0.
The shipping zone is set to USA. (I really didn't change that before)

Any help is appreciated.
