is there a need for 1-download-zipfile attribute and another download-xml attribute...or will the one download-zip attribute cover all of my downloads of templates.
You can share them if you like or you can set up separate ones for each.

Re: Setting up downloadable products

In your configure.php file you posted the following:```
define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', '/home/ofrison/public_html/megatemplatesstore.com/');

define('DIR_FS_DOWNLOAD', DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'download/');

NO....i remember at one point reading the text about safeguarding downloads and moving files outside store. At which point. I did the edit as the posting showed. TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION...no they are different:
--------------------------------------------
define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', '/home/ofrison/public_html/megatemplatesstore.com/');

 define('DIR_FS_DOWNLOAD', 'home/ofrison/download/');

Re: Setting up downloadable products

ALL THREE FILES in example have green lights. I also loaded up one of the .xml files and used the same Download attribute and again a green light.......Im off and running now!! Seems when I was reading all the posting I came across safeguard your download file. I moved the file out adjacent to my public_html folder. Then as i read further I saw that the redirect kept people from having the file link, so I figured they won't know what the file is to give away so I moved the file back in to the position it was in and edited the lines again in both configuration.php evidently the download FS was never changed back but all the others were. To the whole group that put up with all these posts, I am forever greatful and glad after five days I was able to hold on and tough it out. Now I can sleep and put product in tommorow. I wont venture to do MSRP too afraid to touch another line. If someone could simply say where to drop the file i would be greatful. Because as you see I can not edit properly:smile:
