Selling steel options with zen cart
Hey Everyone,
I tried looking through FAQ's and posts for an answer to this and I don't think I could find it because I really couldn't figure out the words to search for to get my answers.
We just installed zen cart and really like what we see so far. We are just toying with it right now to see if it can do what we need (https://www.logansteel.com/zencart/). We are a steel shop and would like to sell steel online in custom lengths, but this is were it gets tricky.
The steel we have comes in 20' lengths but we allow customers to cut them to size. We want to offer them the availability to buy the size they want (in feet) or order full 20' lengths of the same material. If they do choose to order a specific amount of feet under 20' we would like to also include a cutting charge on that but with 20' lengths they would not receive this charge.
Some steel is in 20' lengths others in 24' if that makes a difference but we are just trying to figure out how to set this up or just where would make these adjustments in zen carts admin area. As you can see by the site we really only got the hang of adding individual items like a quantity of lights.
