Getting an error when adding products to cart.

Hi,

I hope I'm posting in the right forum. When I click on a product's add to cart button, I get the following error:

Please update your order. The item: HD LNR 38 X 58 16MIC EQ 200/CS ... Quantity Units errors -
You ordered a total of: 1 Min: 0 Units: 0

This happens to every product I have tried to add to cart.

Any idea what this is all about?

I used EP Pro to add products, don't know if this is a EP issue or something else.

You cannot sell a Minimum of 0 nor in Units of 0 ...

I buy an Apple ... I have to buy a Minimum of 1 in Units of 1 ... as 0 Apples means I am buying air ... :smile:

The Minimum, Maximum and Units are for when you want to require something like:

Buy a Minimum of 6 in Units of 2 ... so that means I can buy:
6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 etc.

In the product section where you add products. This is what is there:

Products Quantity Box Shows: (*) Yes, Show Quantity Box ( ) No, Do not show Quantity Box (If I check no, then I get a warning)

Product Qty Minimum: 1
Product Qty Maximum: 0 0 = Unlimited, 1 = No Qty Boxes
Product Qty Units: 1
Product Qty Min/Unit Mix: Yes No (No is checked)

Yet, when you go to the product display page or the product listing page, I see this by each product:

Min: 0 Units: 0

Now, if I manually update, rather than using EP to update the product and add the correct values in, the product listing and the product display page of min and units disappears.

By default the settings for:
Minimum: 1
Units: 1
Maximum: 0 (for unlimited)

means that there is no reason to show them as this is how you buy a can of Pepsi ... or a computer ... or a car ... :smile:

This happens to me with EP too. The 1 is being read as 0? Im going to reset all the unit values in the DB to 1 to give it a kick eventhough they are already set to 1. Not sure what in the world would make a 1 look like a 0 to ZC. Its a 1 in the DB.

So I ran the following SQL

UPDATE products SET products_quantity_order_units = 1;)` - even though they were all 1 before too.

UPDATE products SET products_qty_box_status = 1;)`

and I dont get the errors any more.

I am having the same problem and I tried the sql above and it failed. Is there a fix to repair this error my site is buybackissuesonline,com
