home page background image

i would like to add a background image to my home page (https://www.diablotreasure.com). i need to have it only appear where the define_main_page.php text appears.

i have spent many hours now trying to learn ccs and reading many tutorials and forum post about this topic im hoping somone can save me some time.

after installing foxfire, with web developer i think im supposed to add this code to .centercolumn:

.centerColumn {
	background: url(../images/large/banner1.gif) no-repeat;
	padding: 0.8em;
	}

atleast what i understand from what foxfire says that particular section is located in ccs, but its not working. i really dont know what im doing lol.

Re: home page background image

Try finding or adding to
#indexDefault

Also

/images/large/banner1.gif

refers to your template images folder
