SSU Module -- Instructions of Use?

I have installed the SSU module for SEO, but now it doesn't tell me how to configure it or how to use it so that it functions properly within the site. Any effort made so far gives me warnings of "my site is now public writable" So many glitches!

Anyone have instructions or directions on how to use this module after installation? Need step by step instructions please! thank you!

Did you get any help? I downloaded it and am in the same position you are. Can't find anything with step by step instructions.
