Adding in new payment options

Adding in new payment options

I'm on v1.3.8.

I currently only have the payment module activated for Cheque/Money order. I would like to add further options for the following:

Paypal Invoice - but I DO NOT want this to direct people to the Paypal website, I want them to select this option then I will send them a Paypal invoice

Credit Card - not the offline processing module as I do not have SSL enabled (too expensive for my small business). I want customers to be able to select this option then they can ring me with their card details.

Direct deposit - just a simple option that customers can select.

Can anyone please point me in the right direction for how I can set these options up?

So basically I want to copy the Cheque/Money order option and rename it three times. I can copy/rename the php file without problems, but how to I get these new options to then show up when the customer checks out?
