Removing a link from my category, but keeping the category enabled.

Nasty one this I'm afraid.

One of our categories is 'recipes' and we've done this kind of thing which works just fine:

However, it would be good if the recipes category wasn't listed in the main categories box at all. I'd like to link to it seperately as I have done in the customised blank sidebox as shown.

So, how to have an active category that doesn't get shown in the category list...?

If I'm understanding your requirement correctly, this module could be helpful:

It's called hideCategories, and it says in the contrib that it's not yet compatible with MySQL5, but there's a support thread here:

http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=52564 where they work out the solution, you just have to dig for it.
