Is it possible to allow merchants to control inventory?

Does Zen Cart have out-of-the-box the ability be setup allowing merchants to setup their own product lines? I want to add a shopping cart setup which controlled by me, but I don't want to give control to the merchants.

No, Zencart doesn't have 'mall' type functions.
