Newsletter didn't seem to send, mySQL error?

Hi,
I am at a complete loss as to what to do was trying to send a newsletter and got this error msg.

1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'cherieoreilly####################.au'' at line 1
in:
[select customers_email_format from zen_customers where customers_email_address= 'cherieoreilly####################.au'cherieoreilly####################.au']
If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields.

Any help is appreciated.

Just a wild guess, but it looks like a bad email address assigned to one of your customers.

yeah it is but deleting that email address doesn't seem to solve the probelm, any thoughts?

Pardon me for stating the obvious, but ... using valid addresses will prevent errors caused by invalid addresses. So, fixing the bad address should be something you might consider.
