Help with small customization - sub categories as well as product display

Hello All

I have a website but I dont like the way it displays the sub categories.

Could anyone assist me with this?

There is a |_ in front of the sub category name and we dont like it much.

ALSO

Why would my image, when I click on i.e. Flashes dissapear? There used to be a image displayed of a flash as well as the sub categories within it (with images) but now its gone?

Could anyone advise on what happening?

admin > config > Layout Settings > Categories Separator between the Category Name and Sub Categories > make it what you prefer

and the other problem of the catergories dissapearing?

Find the extraneous text 'the values is : 0' and remove it. Use Admin - Tools - Developers Tool Kit to search for that text if necessary.
