SSL not working completely anymore??

I installed the SSL cert and tweaked all the appropriate files as stated in the guides....everything worked perfectly for weeks.....

Then, at some point, it broke.....I can connect to the https: site, and I see the padlock for a second, but when the page is finished loading I get the question mark over the padlock (Firefox) and the blue bar disappears - even though the address bar still shows "https:"...
Error says that the entire page isn't encrypted....

I have checked and rechecked, but I can't figure out what tweak, mod, template, or addition would be causing this.....possibly Google checkout??

any ideas as to where I should be looking?

1. How did you find that? (what tool did you use?) I looked at the page source for both the http and the https....but don't know where else to look

2. I don't know what to fix.....that .gif is just a small box to get the user up to the top of the page.....I could just take the whole thing out....... can you see what is causing the page to not load securely?
