PayPal payment... without re-direct to PayPal?

OK... sorry if this is posted.. I searched and could not find.

Our shop charges actually shipping costs with multiple products, etc. etc. so there is no way to use the actually PayPal module.....(well.. we choose not to...)

what I would like to do is this....

is there a way to have something at the payment information screen that would allow the user to choose PayPal, and Not require them to enter a credit card.... then allow the order to continue.

We then process the PayPal invoices manually and separately once the order is placed....

make sense?

You could use the Purchase Order mod or the PayPal Invoice mod.

I'll look into those...thanks!

Found the Purchase order mod and will look at, but I am unable to locate a PayPal Invoice mod....

Log into your PayPal account and follow these instructions below:

From PayPal Website: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=p/sell/invoicing_works-outside

To send an invoice with PayPal:

1. Log in to your PayPal account
2. Go to the Request Money tab
3. Click on the Create an Invoice subtab
4. Select an invoice template or blank template
5. Fill out the invoice
6. Review it
7. Click Send Invoice
8. If you prefer, save your invoice as a template for future use

To pay you, the invoice recipient will:

1. Open your email, read the invoice, and see the PayPal payment button
2. Click the payment button in the email
3. Log in to the secure PayPal payment page
4. Review the details of your invoice
5. Click Pay

When you receive a payment, PayPal will:

1. Send you a "You've Got Cash" email with the payment information and a link to the payment details
2. Record the payment in the Transaction History of your PayPal account

We use PayPal invoices all the time for various orders and are quite familiar with the PayPal process...

again what we are looking for is a way for a customer who chooses to use Paypal to be able to place an online order in Zencart and Not be required to entire a credit card number.....
and not be redirected to the PayPal site

Then we process the order manually using PayPal

Hmmm ... I thought there was an addon called PayPal-Invoice. All it would do is use something like the check/money-order module and rename it. So, you could do the same. Kinda like is discussed here: http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=99535

Playing with it now with a test database and that looks like it will do!
