Gift Certificate w/ Attributes - Empty Drop Down List

I'm trying to get Gift Certificates set up to use attributes so visitors can select their gift cert amount from a drop down list.

I created a single Gift Certificate product and put it in it's own category and assigned my options to it. When I preview it, everything appears fine. I see my GC image, description, and the drop down with the correct prices.

When I try to make the gift cert's live, my drop down list is blank. I checked my debug log and didn't find any errors.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Can anyone offer any ideas? I'd really appreciate it.

I've gone through the setup over and over and followed the tutorial on setting this up.

If you have a test site with the demo products installed (and you should, IMO), there's a category for Gift Certificates which includes a GC priced by attribute. It uses radio buttons rather than a dropdown, but I just changed the 'amount' option name to dropdown and it works fine. You could look at how that's set up for guidance.

My guess is you don't have the option name set up right.
