My website is running slow!!

I don't know why, but my website is soo slow! Any help ?? :frusty:

Still I can't find what to do :/

At least in part because most of your product images are way too big (file size, not dimensions). You need to optimize them so that none is larger than 10Kb. The Image Handler 2 mod is a good way to do that.

I contacted my hosting company and they told me they have a problem with the server... they told me they will fix it asap (cross finger)

My hosting company says everything is all right.
so i installed the image handler and deleted all the additional images in order to make my website faster.

moreover in my who's online admin page it's plenty of ns1.hosthi.com that entered my website... how can I stop it?

I have discovered that all the links on the footer , like contact us, delivery &returns, home,...; are working fine and they are fast;
while the log in and the categories are really slow... :/

any help??

I worked hard on my website with optimizing most of the images... but it's still slow especially the home page :/

Try enabling the parse time display to see what the server is taking time doing

admin > config > logging > display parse time > set to true

And as I can see the demo has more queries and less (16 times more than mine) parse ... why what's the problem?

There are many hosts that support ZenCart and configure their servers to operate this script rapidly
Apparently yours is not one of them

should I contact my hosting company?
The point is that I have another website with same hosting company, but different IP, and runs normally (like the demo website)

The topic you are getting into is pretty in depth, and nobody here is going to be able to solve it. We are just going to keep giving you ideas over and over.

Try to find a hosting company that specializes in zen cart, or a consultant that you can pay to research and fix your issues for you. You will make progress a lot faster that way.

It is the time the server takes to excecute the DB querries AND then the time taken to assemble the page from the pieces so that it is ready to send to the requester
