doest not support jpeg image for product

could not find jpeg in thousands of thread just wondering how come zen only support gif, when i upload gif image for product it display but it does not displays with jpeg. can we mod this somewhere so i can upload jpeg image in admin product. thanks

Of course Zen Cart supports jpegs (and png) for product images. What extension are you using? If you are using .jpeg, try .jpg (though I think either should work).
A link to see your site may help us figure out why you are having a problem.

I cleared the cache but still not help. I am usng ie 8

I'm not seeing the image. Do you have an odd character or spaces in the image name? This is the path I'm seeing for the missing image: ```

If there are spaces in the name, replace them with an underscore _

What browser are each of you using to look at this? I have Firefox 3.5. The funny thing is that it is Microsoft that most likes allowing spaces in filenames, yet it appears to be IE that has trouble displaying one such file.

I get a missing image for that in IE6 as well.

It loaded fine in Firefox, but I agree with the other posters. If you have spaces in the filename, it's gonna cause problems. It's a good practice in general when dealing with any type of web apps, or desktop apps for that matter, to avoid capital letters and spaces altogether.

I noticed you've been making changes and additions to the /classic template. Please don't do it that way. Take the time to create your own custom template or get a free one from http://(sorry, site offline)/ and modify it to suit your needs. Having a custom template will protect your changes. If you keep modifying the files in the /classic folders, all your changes will be lost with any future updates/upgrades.

Hi Kob, does your template Aquashade work with any version of ZC?

Aqua-Shade - - - A very Old submission...
What I would do is make a copy of the currect classic,
Edit the template info file naming it as you like
Copy the images folder from the Aqua-Shade template to your new template

As all this should be is different images
