Can I "autoload" the subcategories names?

Hello and good morning/day,

Can i do something to "autoload" the subcategories in the category sidebox?

Top Category: Men

Subcategory: T-Shirts

But when i click on Men it has to reload the whole page just to show T-Shirts.

Is there any way to preload the subcategories so when i click on a top category it doesn't reload the page just to show the subcategories. To display the subcategories right when i click on the top category.

You might try the FlyOut Menu. When you hover over a category, the sub-categories "fly out" to the side.

Its pretty nice, its exactly what i wanted but,

I got another question...

It preloads all the subcategories, when i click on a Top Category it displays the subcategories but right after, it reloads the page to display the subcategories of the Top Category i clicked on. How to disable/avoid that page reloading?

In the "read me" the contributor says:

5. Determine if you want links to parent categories (categories with subcategories) to just show the submenu, or to also open the corresponding category page. In ZenCart, parent category pages should just show a grid of subcategory links (no product listings, since categories with subcats should ONLY contain subcats), and therefore, these pages are probably redundant, since the subcats are already listed in the submenu. Default is to just show the submenu, not the page. To change the behavior, locate this line in categories_css.js and change the 0 to 1:
   new TreeMenu('siteMenu',0);

But I don't know how to determine if i want links to parent categories.

Can someone help me with this?

Make the switch in the js, then go inspect the result on your site... If you like what you see, keep it, or revert to the original setting in the js.
