Side Banners

Hello, I hope someone has some ideas on this one... Been trying for a few days...

I a working on a site currently accessible at

http://sreuschlein.fatcow.com/Store/

I'm trying to move the product in tward the center (change the page margins left and right) and add 2 banners on each side of the page (left and right) Preferably 2 different banners....

I'v tried a few suggestions from google search with no luck.

Any help is greatly appriciated

Re: Side Banners

While it does not look like one - You started with a TemplateMonster teemplate...

Side bannerboxes can be normally controlled from the admin
First turn them on in
admin > config > Layout Settings > Column Left Status - Global
admin > config > Layout Settings > Column Right Status - Global
Second enable banner boxes
admin > tools > layoutboxrs controller > enable banner boxes on the left and right
admin > tools > banner manager > add banner code of your choosing

Re: Side Banners

Kobra Thanks for your reply ... I'm going to give that a try now... No this is a template I created myself... everything here has been mostly stripped and then just a few things added (the extra header info , ect)

Re: Side Banners

I think I may have explained my intentions wrong. My appologies....

I am looking to add I guess you might call in a background... (however I only want it displayed on the left and right margin) ....

the idea is (you've seen the site) the stars and stripes on either side as if it's in the back of the page....

Re: Side Banners

You will have to make the background color for the items that are on top transparent
You body image can then be seen

Re: Side Banners

You'll need to change the width of #mainWrapper to something other than 100%, or there can't be any room on the sides. I usually use around 980px.
