Editing shopping cart sidebox content

Hey everyone,

for the life of me I can not seem to edit the shopping cart. The font size isn't working for me and there is also a little word that be barely seen that is covered by the border that I asume is pay now button.

Basically what am I looking for on the stylesheet to edit that specific area or would I have to create it? I've tried my hand at both without success.

I would appreciate any input.

Thanks in advance !

Here is a picture to point out the areas I either want to remove or edit.

Re: Editing shopping cart sidebox content

Look for centerboxheading
You will have to seperate out the one where the background image is defined and use some other image for it other than
includes/templates/classic/images/sidebox_bg.jpg

Hey Kobra thanks for your response.

Do you know what I can do about the other two issues that I'm having? Changing the contents of "your cart" side box area?

I can't seem to find the source of the link right above your cart.

Re: Editing shopping cart sidebox content

I realized that the little link at the top of "Your Cart" on my site is Shopping Cart [more] how do I move that so that it's visible but within the restraints of the Your Cart box?

You will have to keep your site off maintenance

Re: Editing shopping cart sidebox content

Hi there,

If you don't want the [more] to appear on any of your headers you can simply goto includes/languages/your-template/english.php and find ```php
//text for sidebox heading links

define('BOX_HEADING_LINKS', '  [more]');

and remove   [more] making sure to leave the ' ' at each end, then if you dont want the text 'shopping cart' go to line 217ish and remove the text again between the 2 '.

regarding the text size look at your stylesheet and find

#cartBoxEmpty

then simply add

#cartBoxEmpty {
  font-size:0.9em;
  color:#red;
}

or whatever size and colour you want.

Good luck mate

Re: Editing shopping cart sidebox content

Matt

Thanks a bunch. I'm going to give it a try.

I'm relieved I'm getting some help. I couldn't sleep at all last night because the problem was annoying me so much. I was trying to figure it out in firebug lol.

In any case thanks a bunch.
